Advice Quality & Automation Manager

The individual will report to the Director of Wealth Operations to assist with the continued digital transformation of the Financial Planning business and build out the quality of our advice reports and letters.

Helping to automate advice processes, production of reports, and the generation of advisory documentation that is given to clients, this role will focus on our client’s experience at all times. Whether it be through BAU channels or M&A, this person will focus on improving the quality of client engagement, making our financial planning advice accessible and delivered at pace.

This role will be responsible for the oversight of the Advice Process, the standardisation of reports and automation of the Advice we provide our clients. This individual will work closely with the para planning team in taking feedback and developing the reports so that they are suitable to meet the regulatory standards and the standards of great customer care.

What does this role look like?

Template creation, maintenance and development:

  • Making sure that the report templates are accessible to clients and provides the best experience for both those creating the recommendations but also those reading it.
  • Ensuring changes to legislation are reflected in all templates in readiness for the change to take place.
  • Reviewing existing templates and seeking appropriate feedback to continuously improve the templates, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements as well as client needs.
  • Working with the Director/Head of PAD to automate PAD processes and clients’ letters to enable the team to work more efficiently and build towards a scaled digital driven solution.
  • Working with the Replatforming Team to enhance the template used for M&A activity to reflect improvements to our in-house approach as well as valuable feedback from M&A advisers, always ensuring alignment with the master templates for SFP.
  • Making sure that the quality and automation of the advice reports is maintained and has continuity across the replatforming team and into the financial planning team.

 

Process and Document automation:

  • Maintaining and developing the documentation and process automation within Smartflows for use by SFP and PAD.
  • Making sure that the process is efficient and that the Paraplanning teams can be productive.
  • Managing the library of live and testing templates.
  • Create and maintain the data links between Mabel and Smartflows templates.
  • Identifying other business processes that can be automated using Mabel to validate the data being supplied to Smartflows. Explore how the use of Smartflows can improve efficiencies in the day-to-day Curo related tasks.
  • Sending mass email communications for SFP / Compliance, via Click Dimensions and Smartflows.
  • Working with SFP Wealth Operations, Replatforming & PAD to create new logic for report templates and make changes to existing logic as requested.
  • Testing any material changes made to the above, making backup versions and pushing new changes live.
  • Working with SFP users to problem solve issues with the letter/report output.
  • Reporting on this data in a real-time/near real-time manner in creating a selection of dashboards.

 

What sort of person are you looking for?

  • Ideally level 6 qualified but completed Level 4 Diploma in regulated Financial Planning (with the CII) and be well on their way to completing their Level 6 Advanced Diploma in regulated Financial Planning.
  • Experienced in Workflow and Click-Dimensions
  • A technology native who has applied experience with Microsoft Excel but who is comfortable applying that knowledge to other systems. Some evidence of coding will be advantageous.
  • Would be useful to have knowledge of Smart flows and Click Dimensions.

 

Where will I be working?

We are looking for someone for our Whiteley office, and offer hybrid working, which includes 2 days in the office, with the remainder at home. We’re incredibly flexible about when and how you work: we don’t want anyone to be prevented from coming to work for Saltus as a result of the working pattern that they’re looking for.
