Our current nominated charity is the Tall Ships Youth Trust

In the last 12 months, through our fundraising, we have been able fully to cover the cost of last year’s life changing voyage for 11 pupils from Addey and Stanhope school. Not only that, but we’ve already raised enough money to cover another voyage in June 2024, and have cash remaining to cover a third!

Tail Ships

At Saltus, we want to make sure we give back. We’re passionate about supporting our chosen charity and other important causes, and we run regular events designed to raise both money and awareness.

As well as our own nominated charity, we want to do our bit to support all of the causes that are important to us personally. We’ll match individual sponsorship up to £250 per employee per year.

We love an excuse for a social event! Some of our recent charity events have included quiz nights, football tournaments, and sponsored walks. We run an employee-led Charity Committee which is open to any Saltusers who would like to join. And we give each of our employees a paid “Give Something Back” day each year to go and do their bit in the community. Fundamentally, we believe that we can make a difference, knowing that our small contributions all add up to deliver really meaningful change.

Local community sport

Saltus has been a keen supporter of local community sport. Our Farnham office in particular has close ties with clubs in the surrounding area.

We are proud principal partners of both Farnham Rugby Club and Bourne Blades Football Club. These clubs provide exceptional sporting facilities for people of all ages in their local community.

Both organisations are well established, with Farnham RUFC boasting amazing facilities at Monkton Lane and running 28 teams, from under 5s upwards. The Bourne Blades Football Club operates no less than 32 teams, training and playing at a variety of local venues, including the Bourne Green, Weydon School, Farnham College and Waverley Abbey School.
